Product description: A long-wear, high-pigment liquid lipstick with a smooth velvet matte finish. Stay all-day, kiss-proof & lightweight comfort.
My first impressions:
They are described as matte, highly pigmented, long-lasting, kiss-proof, comfortable on the lips, approve by the Health Ministry, vegan & cruelty free. The liquid lipsticks come in a beautiful box with complete information you need to know about the product. You can tell how much work and sweat the founder poured into the design of her products when you look at the packaging alone.
I love the fact that every skin tones will at least find a favorite or two from the whole collection. The tube is simple yet very chic, basic doe foot applicator with incredible rose gold design. I really appreciate they also include the whole list of ingredients at the back of the box; description of each shades and all boxes has the actual colors printed on them so it’d be easier for the customers to have an idea what the color’s going to be. Breena Beauty offers 18 shades which is quite extensive for a local brand. I assure you that you can find at least one or two shades that would suit your liking or skin tone.
Here are some of the swatches of the liquid lipsticks with two different lightings:
And here’s how they are swatched on my lips:
The formula is great. The consistency is creamy but liquid-y at the same time. Glide on like butter on the lips. It’s smudge proof & fully matte. The formula does settle into the fine lines but that’s normal unless you’re getting lip fillers to fix it. Lady boss is an amazing, striking orange-red shade but I do find that I need another layer to fully cover my pigmented lips or else I can still see my lips peeking through on the first layer. As for Peach cake & Frosting, those two are the lightest shades in the collection. They are a little bit on the streaky side so I have to play with the applicator to get an even, opaque layer. But I found a way to fix it; by using a lip liner underneath. Frosting applies beautifully on top of lip liner; Peach cake is still a lil bit streaky but it’s so much better than when apply alone. The other shades apply effortlessly beautiful, opaque and evenly coating the lips. My personal favorites are Frosting, Coco latte, Kindness, Macaroon, Courage and Cat lady!
The scent is quite strong. It reminds me of the NYX soft matte lip cream somehow but I am completely fine with it. I have to say, it’s hard to take it off. Use cleansing oil or balm instead. I used micellar water on my first test and my lips were raw from scrubbing too hard. The liquid lipstick lasted for a good five hours on me before I needed to touch up but of course; I wasn’t eating anything oily or greasy that day. Overall, I am very impressed with its performance and I do recommend you to try this product!

Breena Beauty VelvetCreme Liquid Lipstick is one of the local liquid lipsticks that has wowed me and the brand itself, Breena Beauty has launced so many other great products and one of it is the blending pearl which is my favorite tool to blend foundation. In my opinion, you must at least own one of the velvet creme liquid lipstick to try it for yourself.
