Cosrx has been a favourite to many because of their worthy and affordable products, great result and yes the packaging!
When I received these two products, I was so happy because the Two in One Poreless Power Liquid has been in my wish list for so long! For the cleanser, I have tried the old version and it’s kinda ‘meh’ for me, but I’m so excited to try this new upgraded version from them!
Cosrx AC Collection Calming Foam Cleanser:
The Cosrx AC Collection Calming Foam Cleanser is a smart, daily cleanser for acne-prone skin that provides both freshness and moisture to the complexion through a gentle foam. This cleanser gently removes dirt and excess oil while fighting acne breakouts, leaving the skin soft, smooth, and clean. An upgrade from the Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser, the formula has been enhanced to maximize its calming and repairing effects with the CentellAC-RX complex, without the usual stripping feelings of conventional acne cleanser.
My Thoughts:
The cleanser texture is creamy and white in colour, it easily foam bubbles and has no specific scent. The packaging is so minimal and aesthetic, which I really love it.
It was said to better use this with a pore brush but I don’t have that. I only used my hands.
This cleanser is upgraded with CentellAC-RX (madecassic acid, asiaticoside acid, asiatic acid) which they claimed can heal the skin with acne damages.
I was taking my time with this one, for the first impression, it was pretty good. But unfortunately, this one breaks me out the next day. I tried to let my skin get comfortable with this one with putting this off for few days and tried again, but its still breaks me out, which is really a disappointment for me. I have tried this more after that, few times on and off to see how it works again, but I still got the small bumps on my chin and forehead, the moment I wrote this, my skin has been free from this cleanser around 7 days, and my skin is getting better. I guess there’s an ingredient that doesn’t agree with me, but I still need to figure it out. But don’t let my bad experience stops you from trying and getting this because my skin is not acne-prone skin before, so it might be different from those who have acne-prone skin. Because remember that in skincare it’s YMMV, and its really important to understand one skin to another.
Btw, just a little bit of sharing about the CentellAC-RX ingredients;
Both madecassic acid and asiaticoside acid are known for anti-inflammatory function that benefits the skin. And asiatic acid is an antioxidant and known for the soothing and also anti-inflammatory just like the other two. Fun fact is, asiaticoside was said to be less-active than madecassic and asiatic, but I guess putting these three Centella in one tube, will be a winner to some.

Cosrx Two in One Poreless Power Liquid:
Two in One Poreless Power Liquid is dually able for your pore care with BHA to help to clean the pores, Tannin to help tighten them.
This liquid is also effective for cooling down skin temperature and controlling excessive sebum production.
Since this liquid is contains only 0.1% BHA, it can be used with other AHA or BHA products.
My Thoughts:
I used this with cotton pad at night and wipe my face but avoiding lip and eye areas like how it suggested, and with hand in the morning and pat it to my skin. The liquid is light and clear, also has a fresh mint scent. And the packaging is typical Cosrx products which I really like.
One of the key ingredient in this liquid is Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water which was one of the reason that caught my eyes. I think I haven’t tried any product with this ingredient before. Willow Bark Water is said to be anti-inflammatory, acne fighting, clearing pores, and get better skin texture. Also, this ingredient is antifungal, so this Poreless Power Liquid is safe for those who have fungal acne.
Because of the low BHA, this liquid from cosrx is safe to use both morning and night. It can be your first toner in the morning and you can layer it with your hydrating toner after, and at night can soak some cotton pads and put it around 5-10 mins on your big pores area.
I can see that it has cooling effect in my skin, and soothing as well. It clears up my pore especially at night when I wipe my face with cotton pad and this liquid.
Because I only use this for few weeks, I didn’t see any big changes. It is a decent product for now. But I like that the low percentage in this liquid make it safe to use and it does not irritate my skin nor breaks me out.
