Jumiso is a well-known Korean brand famous for its sheet masks. Today, we’ll be reviewing a popular product from its skincare line – the All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum!
The Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Serum claims to:
- be a non-water based serum
- contains 86% vitamin tree extract
- Nourish, brighten, soothe and balance skin
- Not greasy/oily
This product has a lot of good ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica extract – which is soothing and great for acne-prone, sensitive skin; chamomilla flower extract, and of course 86% of the vitamin tree extract. According to this COSDNA result, all of the ingredients are rated safe except for potential triggers like PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. With that being said, this is a really safe product to use.
This is the revamped version of the previous vitamin C serum in case anyone was wondering.
The product comes in a bright orange box. What’s convenient is that the English ingredient list, instructions are clearly labeled on the box, unlike most Korean products. The product comes in a high-class glass dropper! Be careful not to drop it!
After using toner, you can use this in the serum stage or after an essence; depending on your preference.
The product comes in a thick, transparent liquid. It spreads easily onto the skin and feels immensely hydrating and nourishing. It also doesn’t feel greasy/sticky/heavy! It also absorbs into the skin very quickly, great for those of you who like to layer your products but is impatient *cough me cough*.
- Lightweight, hydrating, nourishing
- Packed full of vitamins and good ingredients
- Helps to brighten skin and fade minor scars/dark spots
- Absorbs into skin quickly
- Doesn’t feel sticky/greasy/heavy
- It is not as effective as other Vitamin C serums which helps to fade scars or brighten skin. But then again, this doesn’t oxidize as quickly as other Vitamin C serums in the market.
In a nutshell,
I definitely liked this serum as a whole and love how hydrating/nourishing it is. I love to use this between a toner and emulsion/cream. It’s packed with vitamins and great ingredients! Although, the brightening effect is not noticeable since I haven’t used this long enough. On the flip side, I do think its a great serum for hydration and nourishing. For those of you who would want a stronger brightening/fading effect, it might be better to stick to pure Vit C serums like the ones from Klairs or Purito. All in all, I would still recommend this!
