Kose Cosmeport Suncut Tone Up UV Spray & Essence Review

Water is the most important part of our diet, but do you know what’s the most important part of our skincare routine? It’s sunscreen! Sunscreen is the most vital part of any girl or guy’s skin because it helps protect our skin from the harmful UV rays out there that will cause irreversible damage to our skin and lead to rapid aging, wrinkles etc!

Today, I’ll be introducing this unique lavender color tone-up sunscreen from Kose Cosmeport that not only protects our skin from harmful UV rays but also serves as a tone-up cream!

Both the Kose Cosmeport Suncut Tone Up Uv Essence & Spray claims to…

  • have SPF50+ PA++++ UV protection
  • Lavender color base for tone up effect
  • Fade-resistant – stays on longer
  • Allergen minimizing  – protects the skin from environmental stressors like dust, dirt, pollutants
  • Can be used as a makeup base that will be removed easily with makeup remover etc

Both the Kose Cosmeport Suncut Tone Up UV Essence and Spray comes in cute purple-themed packaging. They both look similar except the essence comes in a tube of 80g while the spray comes in a spray can of 60g.

Although both the essence and spray are essentially the same product, there are a few slight differences. The spray is more for on-the-go application, like when you’re outdoors or at the beach. The essence is suited for both indoors and outdoors!

You can see that the essence comes out as a thick, creamy consistency with a light lavender color. However, it spreads easily onto the skin and blends seamlessly! It’s definitely a hydrating sunscreen as it doesn’t feel matte/drying. It also doesn’t feel greasy or sticky like most drugstore sunscreens. The spray is a light lavender color that you can almost barely see the product. Because it’s a spray, the product is dispensed in fine particles across the skin.

It’s not super obvious but there is a slight toner up effect after using the sunscreen! It also doesn’t leave a shiny or greasy look too!

The spray is dispensed out very thinly and you can barely see it unless you focus on one area to spray. Remember to use your fingers to blend the product out!

Pros.

  • SPF 50+ PA++++ Really good UV Protection
  • Lightweight, non-greasy/sticky
  • Lavender color for tone up effect
  • Spreads and absorbs easily into the skin
  • Hydrating
  • Affordable drugstore price
  • Convenient and on-the-go

Cons.

  • Those that prefer matte/oil control sunscreens might not like this.

In a nutshell,

I definitely think the Kose Cosmeport Suncut Tone Up UV Essence and Spray deserve a lot of praise because it is such a great product. It’s hydrating, applies easily, non-greasy, has high UV protection, and the lavender color is a great tone up! I definitely recommend this to all skin types as its such a great universal sunscreen. However, if you tend to prefer matte finish/oil control sunscreens, you might not like this. All in all, I think this sunscreen is really worth a try!
