While I do enjoy lovely bubble bath time every now and then, I have so little time in the morning especially on regular weekdays therefore it is imperative for my shower cream to not cause dryness at the very least because I simply do not have the luxury to apply body lotion after my shower.
The very reason to opt for either gel or lightweight cream texture for my shower cream is less soap hence less time to rinse off but more bubbles means more happy time for me even if it’s merely a short time while in the shower.
While I have been sticking to generic drugstore shower gel all these times, I have finally discovered a product that literally ticks all the boxes of features for my dream shower cream! If you are familiar with this Shiseido’s brand called SENKA then you probably know their bestselling cleansing line, the Perfect Whip and inspired by the bouncy, enriching foam of their own face cleansers, the brand came out with this Perfect Whip for Body.
This shower cream is rich in moisture; thanks to Hyaluronic Acid compound in it and while it washes away perspiration, body odour even stickiness from daily workouts, it provides long-lasting fresh scent to it.
How to Use:
Simply lather and massage in the shower then rinse off.
Capacity: 500ml – about 100 showers. I only use this in the morning so that’s about 3 to 4 months for me.
Potassium Hydroxide, Oleic Acid, Glycol Distearate, Fragrance, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Lauryl Glycol Carboxylate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, PPG-10 Glyceryl, Polyquaternium-7, Polyquaternium-39, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sericin, Hydrolyzed Silk, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, EDTA-2Na, Sodium Metabisulfite, Potassium Sorbate, BHT, Silica, Ethanol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate
Made in Japan
Basically, the product comes in a sturdy opaque blue plastic bottle which is their signature packaging style for most of their products but it’s a bit hard to monitor the amount of product left in the bottle. There are product description and ingredients list printed in Japanese so you just have to go to Hermo website for more information (linked down below).
If you look closely at the bottom of the bottle, there is the product Batch Code – 8163KD printed which translates to 12 Jun 2018 via Cosmetic Batch Code Checker around the Internet.
The shower cream comes with a great pump as it dispenses out appropriate amount of product every time and you can simply push it down and twist to lock it securely to prevent it from spilling while travel.
The shower cream is in that beautiful white with an accent of pearl. I usually need 1 to 2 pumps of the product for my whole body.
With shower cream, I always use my bath lily or sponge, mix it with water a bit and then squish it to form fluffy bubbles with it. Then I just run the bath lily all over my body.
Overall, I give this product 5/5. I love using it because this shower cream doesn’t dry out my arms and legs. The foam is very fluffy too which I’m a big fan of and the scent is nice and subtle! I simply apply lightweight body lotion afterwards to lock in all the moisture and prevent any dryness caused by air-conditioned room or office.

Normally in the mornings, I would focus merely on hydrating and brightening skincare products, using all the treatment products like anti-aging serums and at night
