Hello everyone! I’m guessing Laneige, with ‘Luminous Beauty’ as their brand keyword doesn’t need much introduction. Their famous BB Cushion is dope and so is their Water Sleeping Mask! But aside from that, did you also know that Laneige created this Clear-C Peeling Mask too?
It is pink in color and I would say it is more like a exfoliating mask as it’s main ingredients are strawberry seeds and soft konjac granules. This is one of my top 3 mask that I frequently use whenever I had a long day and have tired skin. The reason why I love this is mainly because of the gentle exfoliation using the strawberry seeds and it does not hurt my sensitive skin at all. Normally I’ll use it once or twice a week, depending on my skin condition and needs.

For me, after cleansing my face and patting dry, I’ll apply a sufficient amount on my face. You can mix in a little water if its too dry for you. I’ll leave it in for about 1 or 2 mins then gently massage, starting from the areas with a lot of dead flaky skin cells (usually my cheeks) and working outwards in the direction of your skin texture.
Next, wash off with lukewarm water and continue with your regular skincare routine. I love using this mask because it is easy and fast. I don’t need to wait for like 15 to 20 mins before i wash it off. Just rub rub rub and you’re DONE!
If I ever use the wrong skincare, I will get sensitive skin and redness all over my face. To my personal experience, this mask really work wonders on my sensitive skin. The strawberry seeds are surprisingly not too harsh on my skin too. After using this peeling mask, it made my skin feel ‘cleaner’, smoother and hydrated. If you have normal skin type, no worries! You still can use this mask as it suitable for all skin types!
To me, this is overall a good scrub and also a good mask for those who have the same sensitive type like me. The packaging is probably not so travel friendly as it somewhat bulky to bring around.
The tub comes with a small little plastic spatula to scoop the mask instead of using your finger, how thoughtful! For the size of 70ml, I think the price is not too pricey too. Worth the buy for this 2 in 1 mask/scrub. Highly recommended and definitely a 5 star product! Lazy to go out? No worries! Now you can get this product at Hermo. How convenient :D
