I discovered this cream when I was browsing for a moisturizer that would help me soothe down my easily-irritated skin. My moisturizer at the time was not bad but they didn’t do a great job on reducing redness. On another note, I was watching Liah Yoo’s Youtube video where she talked about her top favorites from Klairs I think? Or was it her recommendation from Klairs ahahaa.
So anyway, she mentioned that this cream is amazing at calming and soothing irritated skin so I decided to get it during a sale!

- Recommended for
Those with oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin to soothe redness and calm sensitivity from sun exposure. Also for those in need of a spot treatment for irritated skin.
Dehydrated-combination, oilier on nose and cheek area. Prone to redness and mild acne.
FYI, Klairs didn’t claimed this cream is an actual moisturizer but instead they recommend to use it as a spot treatment cream. Note that if you’re looking for a super moisturizing cream, this might not what you are looking for :(
On my combination skin, this cream feels light and airy when applied on skin. It does feels soothing and kind of cooling too. I would use this at the last step of my routine as moisturizer when on my exfoliating nights or as spot treat whenever my skin has red spots or blotches.
Guaiazulene and Centella Extract combination from this cream does an amazing job at relieving itchiness or tingling sensation using a chemical exfoliation or whenever I messed up my skin by using unsuitable products. Irritation is reduced significantly, redness and res spots caused by sensitized skin was calmed and practically gone the next morning.
Formulated with no essential oils added, makes me list this cream in my no-fuss-ingredient product list. I would highly recommend this for sensitive, easily-compromised skin. Although the price is a bit steep, I’d happily spend my money on products that give fast results within the safe zone haha!
Though I bought this blue cream during a sale, I’m here to save you from wasting time on long queue AND website lags because of the connection congestion. Get this cream easily through HERMO or just add it in your wishlist and buy it cheaper during one of frequent sales at HERMO’s all year round! :D
There is a clinical report that Guaiazulene may turn into a toxic chemical when exposed to high temperature and sunlight. Although the chance of that happening is very low in real life, let’s be aware. To be safe, I’d prefer to use it at night time.
