What Causes Sunburn?
You already know the simple explanation behind sunburn. When your skin is exposed to the sun for a period of time, eventually it burns, turning red and irritated.
How soon a sunburn begins depends on:
- Your skin type
- The sun’s intensity
- How long you’re exposed to the sun

To be honest, I didnt know about this brand until I saw it at Boots Pharmacy in Bangkok. Obviously the packaging is very attractive to me and their brand name is kind of funky. I bought it and haven’t used it until now since everyone is staying at home now with more free time to pamper and treat my skin. I dug this out from my cupboard and I saw this pack of mask and decided to give it a try. It says here good for soothing after a long hour exposed to sun. Well I had a long hour gardening outside my house without any sunblock on. I must be gone crazy. The moment I came in my house, I could feel the burning sensation especially on my forehead and nose.
Whenever I’m exposed to sunlight, the area that commonly got burn is my nose first and followed by forehead. I once heard from my trusted dermatologist, your skin tend to got burn easily if the face area is very oily. Yes, I belong to oily skin type and my nose got so oily after one or two hours after taking a bath.
Since my skin had a minor burnt today from gardening, I decided to try out my mask that been sitting in my cupboard for some time. Almost forgot that I bought it. Ok, this mask should my saviour this time.
My review :
When it comes to sunburn, the very first thing that I could think of is aloe vera. My mother used to put it on her finger when she got burnt during cooking. Now my life got easier with this jelly mask. It has soothing and cooling effect when you applied it on your mask. Some icy and minty kind of sensation on your skin.
My skin feels amazing and is extremely hydrated after using this mask. It is a messy mask as there is a ton of essence, which I appreciate but can get troublesome to put on. There is enough essence left in the package that you can use it over your entire body, or save for the next day as a morning moisturizer. But I dont usually keep the essence overnight. The consistency of the essence seems like it would be tacky, but it absorbed into my skin so well. Highly recommend this mask and I will be try other mask from this brand.
