Who doesn’t know the crazily famous Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule? It is highly raved among K Beauty enthusiasts and is a best-seller for many years. Not long after the hype Missha released a Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule Cream which is an intensive wrinkle-improvement ampoule cream by compressing the famous Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule into a concentrated cream.
It is formulated with ten times upgraded violet ampoule’s ingredients. I have been using this since 2019 and love love love it! It is a great anti-aging addition into my routine that my skin thanks me for.

Phew what a lengthy list isn’t it? This is made of 57% bifida ferment lysate, which is a probiotic ingredient that’s used in one of the most iconic serums in the world: the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. According to www.incidecoder.com, it potently protects against UV-induced damage in the skin and helps with DNA repair. There’s also a research that showed that applying 10% bacterial extract to sensitive, reactive skin helped with better barrier function and decreased skin sensitivity (from incidecoder). Other notable ingredients are ceramide, sodium hyaluronate, centella asiatica extracts, carrot root extract, and beta glucan. Note that this also has various vegetable oils, fruit oils (like orange peel oil), & flower oil (like rose and lavender).
Texture and Smell
A viscous cream with amazing amazing spreadability. As this is a concentrated cream, the texture is thick but it melts into the skin smoothly. This takes some time to fully absorb into the skin but once it does, it does not feel like it is sitting on top of the skin. It smells subtly herbal, almost similar to Blithe Tundra Chaga serum.

The glass jar feels luxurious and distinctive. The product is also secured by an extra inner lid. It comes with a spatula for hygiene purposes, and the spatula is curved so it is easy to scoop product. Kudos to Missha for being so thoughtful in designing the packaging.
How To Use
The name itself is a night repair cream so it is to be used at night at the moisturiser step in the skincare routine so the sequence would be like this:
- First Cleanser (cleansing oil, micellar water, etc.)
- Second Cleanser
- Exfoliant – optional
- Toner – optional
- Essence – optional
- Ampoule/Serum – optional
- Eye cream – optional
- Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule Cream
- Lip balm/ Lip mask / Lip treatment – optional
This can feel heavy during a hot day especially in our hot and humid weather so if your skin is oily you might not want to layer so much. I sleep in an air-conditioned room so I usually put on toner and essence or serum or ampoule before. A little goes a long way with this one so you might not want to get too generous with the amount.
Experience
The texture looks thick as I first scooped it up but as I rubbed it in into the skin it feels like it melts, feeling definitely light. A thick cream that is not heavy, doesn’t make my skin sweaty or feeling like there’s a film on top of the skin. No irritation experienced. I use this at night as per instructed & I love waking up with a less oily T-zone and nose. After using this for more than 6 months I definitely feel my skin feeling firmer and my cheeks less sluggish. The anti aging effect is unable to monitor as I don’t have wrinkles yet but I have no new wrinkle so far.
I think this has done a great job in sealing off all those moisture & any goodness from the earlier products in the skincare steps as I wake up to a smooth and firm skin. This feels moisturising and my face stays moisturised as this cream locks it all in, and after more than 6 months, I think my cheeks feel more elastic? I think that owes to this cream, together with the other products in my routine. I experience no bad reaction to this cream such as breakout, itchiness, redness, sting, or dryness. I apply this more on my dry areas. This also helps strengthen my skin barrier. My oily combination skin loves this.
My rate: 5/5. Definitely going to repurchase.
