REVIEW | Love, Beauty & Planet Shampoo #[Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower]

I recently reviewed the Love Beauty & Planet Tea Tree Radical Refresher Shampoo so today I thought I’d share my review on the Coconut Water series! The Coconut Water series is great for getting voluminous hair, so I was really interested to try this after liking the tea tree series shampoo. So without further ado, let’s get into the review!

CLAIMS

The Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Volume & Bounty Shampoo claims to be

  • Specially formulated for fine and flat hair
  • Infused with coconut water, ethically sourced Moroccan mimosa flower
  • Rejuvenate fine hair for bounce and vitality
  • Replenish and hydrate hair to leave it voluminous, soft and glossy without weighing your hair down

INGREDIENTS

The thing that attracts the most to Love Beauty & Planet as a brand is that they are committed to loving the planet and mother nature by using ethically sourced ingredients that are both good for the earth and our hair!

PACKAGING & PRODUCT

So the LBAP Coconut Water Shampoo comes in a transparent plastic bottle with the label clearly printed out. It’s a 400ml tub so it lasts me for quite long despite using it every day!

At the back of the label, the ingredients, how to use, and the company philosophy is also clearly printed out.

Just like the other LBAP shampoos/conditioners, the cap is a push on/off a type of cap that is great for preventing leakage if you’re traveling!

The product is clear and transparent. It looks a bit like a watery gel-like substance at first glance. It smells faintly of coconuts and a fruity floral scent too!

After contact with water, the LBAP Coconut Water Shampoo easily lathers and turns into this nice foam! It’s very light and easily lathers. If you have fine hair like me, shampoos that easily lathers are the most suitable for our hair type since they don’t weigh our hair down!

Now, I usually just rinse my hair first with water, then using a good 2 x 50 cents amount of the shampoo I rub it between my palms then lather it on my head, massaging my scalp at the same time and making sure it creates thick, foamy bubbles and it covers all of my hair.  Then once I’m satisfied, I rinse it off with water, then proceed with conditioner – which I’m also using the LBAP Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Conditioner here. Then I rinse it off, comb my hair, and blow-dry! Voila – clean, refreshed, voluminous hair.

pros.

  • Voluminous effect and doesn’t weigh hair down

  • Affordable @400ml
