Have you ever washed your face, only to find that your skin is oily again within the hour? Seriously, this is the most annoying thing! And every single night I will need to sleep with an oily face. No joke, having oily skin is a burden. I was like WHATTTT! I just washed my face and now it feels so oily already. I have not even gone to bed yet. It really makes me feel unclean and cause me to wash my face compulsively. I’m always on the lookout for products that can prevent my face from looking like an oil producing factory. LOL.
I’ve heard that Cetaphil’s Oily Skin Cleanser was a savior for a lot of people with oily skin. I’ve done a review on this product previously. Do check it out on the Beauty Memo blog too! But did it work for me? I’m going to review the normal Gentle Skin Cleanser today see if its helps my oily skin too. Oh ya, this one can be used on our body too. But so far, I did not test on my body yet. Reason why I do the comparison for both is because the Cetaphil’s Oily Skin Cleanser is much more expensive to be honest. Let’s dive into the review to find out, shall we?

My skin is super oily, I would say. It’s so bad that I wash my face in the morning then I will need to use a tissue during lunch time to wipe off the excessive oil. I’ve gone through countless products trying to find something that would keep the oil away and prevent constant breakouts. I used blotting sheet to dab on my face.
During my journey of product seeking, I spent hours on the internet looking up products that were meant to fight oily skin. Back then, I really make a lot of purchases out of desperation and curiosity. But, I really don’t mind spending some extra money. It is my face after all! Girls being girls.
To me, this cleanser is quite affordable price product. So why not give a try? I was all out of options so I thought I’d give this a shot. Trust me I’m glad that I did. The change wasn’t immediate or overnight, but I saw results after a week of using it. I noticed that the scars and blemishes left behind by acne slowly started to fade. Although the packaging isn’t too fancy or attractive, but it does the job well. This product can be easily found at the supermarket or an online store, which is extremely convenient. The product doesn’t foam up as it is soap-free. Overall, this is an excellent product!
Will I Recommend It?
Yes. It is suitable for those who have sensitive skin that tends to breakout due to any harsh products. Give this product a shot like I did! And I assure you won’t regret it.
