  • CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT or green tea extract is cult’s favorite ingredient for having many skin-loving benefits. The polyphenols in green tea have potent antioxidant and skin-soothing properties, and show significant promise for improving the appearance of sun-damaged skin. Green tea is also a great choice for those with acne-prone skin as it has antimicrobial properties and also can act as astringent to keep your sebum at bay.
  • PANTHENOL is great humectant, great for those with dry skin. It helps to promote skin healing by enhancing cell growth. It’ll binds with water and enhance hydration, making your skin feels smoother and supple

How to use

During your skincare routine, use a finger to apply a small amount of eye cream around your eyes. Gently pat it on your skin for the best absorption.

Thoughts

This is actually my second tube and I’m already about to run out! Feels cooling and the cooling effect is further intensifies if you put it in a fridge first. Although it looks like a thick cream but it is actually feels luxurious and easy to spread without tugging the delicate skin around your eyes. Despite having a couple of moisturizing ingredients like green tea seed oil, glycerine and shea butter, this eye cream absorbs effortlessly with light tap on skin. It leaves just a nice film of long-lasting moisture without feeling heavy at all. In fact, I didn’t experience milia forming from using this eye cream as some eye cream tend to be too moisturising that it caused milia.

Unlike other eyecreams with a standard amount of 15 ml, you get double the product volume! You know how pricey eye creams are on the market so this is really a plus point for a cheapskate like me LOL!

The truth is I’m don’t only use this product for my eyes but also all over my face as a moisturiser too! I was out of moisturisers and the only cream product that I have then was this Innisfree eyecream. Surprisingly, my skin doesn’t feel oily the next morning. Plus, my skin’s irritation was reduced immensely. Acne healed much faster and eventually my acne is controllable. Since then, this eye cream has become my savior each time I messed up my skin with unsuitable products.

In conclusion, this eye cream doesn’t really brightens my under eye but it diminished my smile line wrinkles and it is a great eye cream to de-puff and maintain moisture (works as a great face moisturizer too!). I can’t wait to get my hands on the latest version as I noticed they changed the formula a bit and spotted panthenol (fave humectant :D) as one of the ingredients. Yay!
