REVIEW | Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum

One question for you: if you see something orange, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?

For me, it’s Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum. Probably due to the fact that it’s the only orange-themed skincare product that I have in my stash hence it always gets my attention.

I was at first unsure of what does this facial serum do to my face (though it is obvious that it can brighten and rejuvenate my skin) because I haven’t had the chance to properly dwell into it’s claim. Most of it because of I had multiple products to choose and use at that time, therefore this serum was at back row of my stash, collecting dust. Yeet. That’s bad.

And now, this serum once again came into the limelight of my attention. Lets explore the benefits of this serum had on my skin.

Jumiso All Day Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum is the renewed version of their previous Drop The Vita C Facial Serum. This non-water-based and high-concentration serum is said to be packed with antioxidants effect of pure Vitamin C, hence it will help to balance, brighten and rejuvenate dull skin. It also claims to able to protect the skin from oxidative damage all day long. Aside from Vitamin C, this serum also packed a bunch of adenosine, which the combination with Vitamin C can help to to increase skin elasticity and promotes anti-aging.

Various vitamin complexes also included in this serum ingredients’ list such as A, B, C, D, E and K and other beneficial ingredients that would help in skin nourishing, brightening,  soothing, whitening, and elasticity care.

The Packaging:

With its orange colored transparent glass packaging, it somehow set the image that the serum might somehow be tinted with orange. However, once I opened it to patch test on my hand, it was the total opposite. The glass packaging also makes it very fun to photograph, thanks to the dark orange color. It also comes with a normal glass dropper that can help me reach the bottom of the packaging to scoop until last drop of serum.

And don’t underestimate the volume given too. Though it is only, 30ml it lasted quite long for me, say 3 to 4 months? But this period also depends on how frequent and the amount you wear it for each routine.

The Formula:

Clear, transparent lightweight serum that glides smoothly at the back of my palm accompanied with the soft citrusy (inclined more towards orange-y btw) fragrance that knocked gracefully at my nose-bud.

Whenever I used this serum, I like that fact that it is not too heavy on my skin but yet so hydrating as well. Formulated to be light to the touch and to the skin without being too oil nor too greasy, it is suitable to be worn for all day usage.

Main ingredients that are under the spotlight includes:

  • Vitamin Tree extract (with 86% constitutes of it, it aid in whitening, anti-flammation, anti-oxidant, wound healing and healthy skin recovery)
  • Hyaluronic acid (hydrating and moisturizing agent)
  • Centella asiatica extract (anti-inflammation and soothing agent)
  • Chamomile flower extract (regulate sebum secretion and vitalize the skin)

oh-so-very-good serum
rub it in

I love to wear this after hydrating toner, as it helps to moisturize my skin even more to the point I felt like skipping the moisturizer for quite a few times. It layers magnificently under my other skincare product too. It is not sticky at all, have an amazing citrusy smell, hydrates my face well – what more could I ask ? The serum is so good to wear and I even love my skin more after I applied this serum as it gives that healthy and glossy kind of glow. Much to a porcelain skin I guess (quit dreaming, sis).

i mean, did you see that healthy glow - imagine what it can do to your skin

If you’re reading this, do know that I’ve run out of the serum and planning to repurchase it because of the benefits it gave to my skin. You can also give it a try by clicking the image below. Enjoy!
