My family have been loyal users of Darlie toothpaste all these years. And I started to use this brand since my teenage years and never really tried other brands until recently. Along the years, Darlie came out with a few new flavors to compete with Colgate. But the Darlie brand is not new to me with their Black Man with the magic hat as their signature and never really changed much. I was a braces girl back then and after taking out my braces, the next thing that I wanted to do is tooth WHITENING! Having straight teeth is important but having shiny white teeth is a bonus!

This toothpaste contains natural bamboo charcoal molecules which absorb dirt and deep cleanse the mouth. I am not sure if you have heard of using charcoal to whiten your teeth? I have and yes I did it once when I was young.
During ancient times when toothpaste were not even invented yet, people used to clean their teeth with charcoal powder. It is black in colour and you just need to dab it on and rub against your teeth. Sounds weird but effective! Charcoal has the effect of pulling all the toxins from your mouth, removes stain and whitening too.
Darlie combines charcoal with Speedy Whitening Agent (SWA) whitening agent to remove yellowish stains on our teeth. Hello, coffee lovers please see here. All those Malaysian favourite drinks like teh peng, kopi peng, cham peng will stain your teeth so always rinse your mouth after taking those beverages! Now with the Charcoal and SWA whitening agent, worry no more! Most whitening toothpastes contain Hydrogen Peroxide which help in whitening. How to use:

My Opinion:
The Darlie All Shiny White Charcoal Clean Toothpaste has grey stripes with a white base. The texture is soft and creamy. To me, it has a chewing-gum like flavour which is rather pleasant and unique unlike the usual mint-flavoured ones. Even kids can use it! There is a slight cooling and minty effect after use which makes my breath feel fresh and clean. The toothpaste cap is those flip flap kind, so you don’t have to worry about losing the cap. It closes quite well without any leakage. Personally think that it helps in removing mild surface stains too. So remember to use it twice a day for best results!
