REVIEW | Innisfree Vivid Cotton Ink Blur

Innisfree has one of the best skincare line by far, and every time they come with new products, I’m in, because all their products are based on natural ingredients. I rarely go to their makeup section but this time, I get to try lips product from them which is their Vivid Cotton Ink Blur lip tint. Anyways, I’m going to cut this short and let’s just get into the review.

What it is:
1. Features a light and airy, velvety texture which blends onto the lips smoothly

The light airy texture blends onto the lips smoothly like a cloud and stays on for a long time without smudging.

2. Creates a blurred effect with a soft and smooth finish

It gives a blurred effect with a smooth finish, creating that hazy, blurred-edge lip makeup.

3. Adheres onto lips quickly without leaving any stains and is moist on the inside and matte on the outside

Available in diverse colours in a velvet formula for both cool and warm tones which adhere onto the lips quickly, keeping the inside of the lips moist and the outside smooth and matte.

Amount of product:
4g

Made in Korea

[05] DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, POLYGLYCERYL-2 TRIISOSTEARATE, DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, YELLOW 6 LAKE (CI 15985), 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, IRON OXIDES (CI 77491), RED 28 LAKE (CI 45410), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), YELLOW 5 LAKE (CI 19140), ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, FRAGRANCE / PARFUM, ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL

How to use:
Apply onto the lips either all over or in the center and blend out for a gradation lip look.

Packaging:
The packaging is simple and the tube is based on what color of this lip tint. Very easy to detect the color especially when you want something fast to grab and apply. Packaging is very simple and straight forward with the doe foot applicator as the main way too apply it onto the lips. I actually don’t mind using a doe foot applicator for this formula, it kind of works very well in blending and blurring out the lip look.

Color/ Pigmentation:
The pigmentation for this shades are super pigmented and one swipe does the trick. All of them have no glitters or shimmers, so if your are into that like me, you’ll like these. To be honest, I was expecting the color will be an orange color with a bit of brown color but for me, the color is more to a dusty rose color. From the ads, the color is a bit brownish coral which is quite disappointing but I still like this MLBB dusty rose color. I’m happy to report that this lip tints have all the shades that suit for all warm and cool undertone.

Texture/ Finish:
This tint goes on super smooth, velvety, and has the matte look to it but it doesn’t feel super drying which is amazing! It blends into the lips effortlessly and you can easily do a pro looking blurred gradient lips look with just a Q tip and no arm strength. I find that it is easy to create gradient lips with this.

Lasting power:
This tint does transfer and it is not 100% matte as the texture is velvety, so if you were eating or kissing, this product does transfer. When the product is completely rubbed off of the lips, it does leave a nice tint of color that also looks pretty nice. The tint itself lasts a good 5-7 hours.

Fragrance?:
The first thing I smell is rose scent but not too overpowering.

Pros:
– Super pigmented
– Very easy to apply
– Velvety, Smooth and Blendable
– Long-lasting
– Affordable

Cons:
– The color ads are quite confusing which are more to dusty rose color

Rating: 4/5
