REVIEW | Neutrogena Rainbath Pear And Green Tea

Previously I had done a review for Ocean Mist, and today I’m going to share my thoughts of this Rainbath Pear And Green Tea after trying it out last night. To be honest, the reason I bought this shower gel is because of the colour actually. LOL. The colour is so vibrant and I was so tempted to try it out! So I bought two bottles straight. In the end both became my favourite and I cant tell which is the one I like the most. I wasn’t sure if pear brings any benefits in this shower gel, probably just for the scent? But as I know pears contain good amounts of vitamin A that can help in keeping skin and hair healthy. And Green Tea helps to cleanse and purify skin instead.

The texture is right in consistency and looks pale green in color. The gel forms decent foam and feels super smooth on the skin. The gel can be used as a shaving cream and gives you an ultra smooth shaving experience. This is an added advantage with this shower gel and also my first time seeing this kind of 2 in 1 shower gel. I used to use loofah during my shower, so it actually creates more foam.

HOW TO USE:

IN THE SHOWER: Smooth on body with moistened hands, puff or washcloth. Gently lather, then rinse.

IN THE BATH: Dispense into running water.

FOR SHAVING LEGS: Use as a skin-smoothing shaving gel.

My Opinion:

I really don’t have anything negative to say about this particular product except for the smell. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but to me it is still acceptable and doesn’t smell that bad though. Even though the smell might be a little overwhelming to those who dislike strong fragrance. To be honest, I don’t smell any green tea nor pear too but it simply like just like perfume smell. Not really feminine kind, but more to manly kind of scent. My boyfriend loves the scent trail it leaves behind HAHA. The pricing might also be a little too steep for a lot of users as well. A 473ml is actually quite small to me, probably last me less than 3 months usage. The dispensing pump comes in handy as the bottle is huge but absolutely not recommended for travel. It lathers easy and rinses off my body easily as well, so very hassle free. A little amount of the product is sufficient and the job is done. After shower, my skin does not feel dry but it is very soft and smooth after a nice bath with this shower gel. The product is easily available in Hermo now, just a click and here you’re done! If you have an extra budget, I think this shower gel is worth to repurchase.
