People are often confused between whitening and brightening. If whitening means you are bleaching your skin, brightening means you are enhancing your skin tone and makes it brighter and fresher. Whitening is a harmful process for your skin, but brightening is different which is not harmful yet helpful to make your skin look healthy. However, for you to have a brightening skin, you need to complete the skin care process. One of the most important products in skin care routine is cleanser. Don’t ever skip cleanser in your skin care routine.
So, Garnier introduced a new cleanser which is a combination of the both needs, Garnier Skin Naturals Light Complete Whip Foam. A cleanser and a formula for brightening. I was keen and interested to try this because it claims to brighten up your skin in a few days. Before I proceed with my personal review and thoughts, I read through some reviews from other people. There are mixed reviews and ratings for this product, hence that is why I am reviewing this to give my own thoughts.
Unlike other cleansers, when this product comes in contact with water, it will slowly change into fluffy foam. Did you know that foaming cleansers are actually good for your skin? Foam cleanser works the same like other types of cleanser, but foam cleansers are gentler on your skin. It causes less friction which does not strip off your skin easily. It will thoroughly cleanse your skin from all of your makeup and dirt which would build up over time.
Did you know that fluffy foam can reach deep into the pores and cleanse all the dirt? It could wash all the dirt away and leave you with soft and clean skin. That is how Garnier Skin Naturals Light Complete Whip Foam works. It is suitable for all skin types.
It is also infused with Yuzu Lemon and Vitamin C. We are aware that Yuzu Lemon is very important in skin care because it is functionally as brightening and radiance for your skin. Also, Vitamin C is included because it could rebuild the damaged skin cells and it works like an aid in your skin’s natural regeneration process.
It has the simplest yet full of information printed on the packaging. It is in a flat common tube that every cleanser used. However, I just find it a little bit insecure because they didn’t seal it. If suddenly that it has been open or in other meaning, VOID, it is not safe to use.
Probably also that they might easily leaked. Usually there is a sticker that works as a stopper. But they did not provide this for Garnier Skin Naturals Light Complete Whip Foam.
This is how the foam reacted with water. At first, they are a thick cream but slowly forming into fine bubbles and turns into foam that looks like a whipping cream. Using this cleanser, I am focusing on the area that need more attention as such pores.
AQUA / WATER, SORBITOL, LAURIC ACID, STEARIC ACID, MYRISTIC ACID, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, PALMITIC ACID, KAOLIN, SODIUMCOCOAMPHOACETATE, COCO-BETAINE, LINALOOL, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, SALICYLIC ACID, SODIUM BENZOATE, PHENOXYE
After testing it for awhile, I was a bit disappointed. According to their claim, it is actually promising in brightening. My skin feels fresh and brighter which previously I had pale and dim skin tone. However, after using this, I can feel my skin became oily and a few painful acne popped on my skin. It is not suitable for a normal to combination skin like me.
It is a good thing that it actually brighten up your skin but however the aftermath of using it is really upsetting. Although it is made specifically for oily skin, however it didn’t work for oily skin. Unlike other lemony skin care products that will leave some heat and rashes on my skin, this would be a good to go. Hence, I am giving 6 out of 10 for this Garnier Skin Naturals Light Complete Whip Foam.
