If you are a K-Beauty fan, you must know the brand Innisfree. I know this brand because Yoona is the ambassador and it is famous for the Green Tea Seed serum. I recently tried one of Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask and it was such a good experience that I want to share with you.
There are many choices of variants in the My Real Squeeze Mask as below:
*The icon on the packaging indicates different types of texture.
I chose the Aloe Vera variant since my skin needs the extra boost of moisture.
#Aloe – This moisturizing-essence type mask is enriched with moisture-rich aloe, protects tired skin against external stimulants and helps to soothe and calm the skin.
Jeju green complex X squeezed aloe = water soothing! – It’s filled with Jeju green complex (green tea, tangerine, cactus, camellia leaves & orchid) and squeezed aloe provides fatigued skin with a hydrating and soothing effect.
1. After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture.
2. Unfold and place the mask on the face, avoiding eye and lip area.
3. Leave on for 10-20 minutes.
4. Remove the mask and gently pat the remaining content for better absorption
It is so minimalist with just picture of aloe vera at the front and some English information at the back of the packet.
It is made of 100% cellulose. The material is made of eucalyptus that holds the essence well.
Colourless, refreshing scent of aloe with a runny essence consistency
The sheet mask does not comes with a backup mesh/separator but unfolding was easy.
The ‘Easy-Peel-Design’ comes with a handle on the top of the sheet mask makes it more convenient to apply and remove.
The sheet mask is a bit stiff but it adhered well to my face. It did not budge even when I was walking down the staircase.
The fitting is good too, there was 1 slit cutting each at the bottom cheek for easy fit adjustment.
This sheet mask contains 20 ml of essence. There was a lot of remaining essence left in the packet. The essence is very watery with a bit of slip that glides smoothly on the skin. I did not experience any essense dripping throughout the sheetmasking session.
I put the mask on for about 15 minutes and I noticed that around the 10th minute, the sheet mask is starting to dry out so I put on the remaining essence from the packet onto the sheet and continued for another 5 minutes. The essence absorbed quickly into my skin without any tackiness or greasiness.
The whole experience was great because I feel like sheet mask cools down my skin’s temperature during the session.
I love how plump my skin is after removing the sheet mask. My skin looks refreshed and felt hydrated. My pimples looks more soothed and calmed.
It is such a good skin prepping before I continue with the rest of my skincare routine.
