REVIEW | Ryo Hair Loss Care Shampoo #For Oily Scalp

I have mentioned before in my previous review that I faced two different problems on my hair and scalp. Hair loss is one of my major issues as well. After testing out the Deep Scalp Cleansing from Ryo, I eagerly wanted to try out this Ryo Hair Loss Care Shampoo as well. Hoping that it could help and prevent my hair from falling even if I stopped going for hair treatment.

Normally for hair thinning shampoos, you will see common key ingredients like ginseng. No doubt, Ginseng is believed to increase the dermal cells on the scalp which, in turn, strengthens the follicles and roots of the hair. Moreover, ginseng helps to nourish the roots as well. These not only encourage new hair growth but also prevents hair thinning and breakage. Since I have stopped going for my hair treatment, I will need some good shampoo to maintain my hair.

I’m trying to avoid harsh ingredients as much as I can, I am surprised to find out that this shampoo is free from these ingredients:

  • Animal- Derived Ingredients
  • Mineral Oil
  • Synthetic Colorant
  • Polyacrylamide
  • Triethanolamine

How to use:

Step 1: Rise hair and scalp with lukewarm water

Step 2: Apply product and massage gently into hair and scalp.

Step 3: Rinse with lukewarm water

How to store:

Do not store in direct sunlight or extremely hot or cold locations. Store in a dry area. Keep out of reach of children.

My Opinion:

This shampoo is easy to foam up and is transparent in colour which I really like. I used this every day for the first two weeks, and subsequently reduced hair loss frequency and my scalp condition stabilized.

Sometimes, I will switch to another shampoo as well depending on my mood. LOL. If I use this everyday, I think it will be quite drying my scalp and make my scalp flaky. But one good thing is, it makes my hair look more volumized though. When I blow or comb my hair, I noticed that not much hair fell on the floor compared to previously. I think this is the only way where I could really see the result.

Personally feel that it soothes, calms and cools down my troubled scalp after washing too. Recommended to use along with conditioner or else hair will tangled up together. It works like magic if you pair with their conditioner, but that is optional depending on individual needs. Fantastic I would say!

In short, I think this shampoo worth every cent you are paying for. For individuals with hair loss problem like mine, I would highly recommend this shampoo to you. However, for individuals with normal scalp, I think this is not necessary considering the price.
