REVIEW | Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm

Do you ever crave luscious juicy lips but at the same time don’t want to put too much effort? I always carry along a lip balm wherever I go. Lip balm is my essential skincare is because the skin on our lips are thinner than on our face and it’s easier to get chapped and dry lips. That’s why it is very important to bring along a lip balm because it can help soothe your chapped and dry lips. It will also help it heal faster and keep it hydrated.

I’ve tried multiple lip balms from different brands and most of them are plain colours. Basically it’s only purpose is to heal and you will still need to apply a lipstick to give your lip some colour. Some lipstick might be irritating to wear but at the same time you need to wear lip balm. I’m so glad I found Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm which is a combination of lip balm that gives you a tint of colour. Perfectly fine to satisfy the user’s need. But make sure to keep reading so you know for yourself whether this is good to go or a pass.

This Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm is a collaboration of lip ice with LINE Friends, a telco company from South Korea. It comes in two shades, Wild Berry Pink (represented by Cony) and Raspberry Red (represented by Choco). It contains super hyaluronic acid which will restore the moist of your lips for a long lasting hydration.

It is also contains Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Collagen to help improve lip texture by giving you more bouncy and smoother lips. Meadowfoam Seed Oil is widely known to be infused in skincare especially in lip product because it helps to make your lips softer and plumping effect. Also, this tinted lip balm is infused with vitamin E which is an effective antioxidant to help repair dry lips and keeping it smooth and healthy. It is also known to protect your lips from the harmful UV rays and yes, this lip balm contains SPF 15.

It has a pleasant smell; it is common to have some flavor in your lip balm so people will not irritated with the petrolatum scent. Wild Berry Pink has a strong strawberry scent while Raspberry Red has a mild and sweet scent of raspberry.

LINE is known for their cute and adorable mascots, so they produced a tinted lip balm with their mascots printed on it! Isn’t it cute? Sometimes I feel sorry to throw their wrapper away because it is too adorable. A huge mascot of Cony and Coco were printed on the packaging representing the flavor. But since of them are way too adorable, I just decided gonna grab both of them.

Wild Berry Pink is colored in deep pink while Raspberry Red is colored in red. Another fascinating thing about this Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm collaboration with LINE Friends is that the lip balm is in a retractable tube. It will ease your application and also easy to store. Certain lip balms will need to be scooped with your fingers but not this one, you only need to apply, retract it and go.

Petrolatum, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Diisostearyl Malate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Octylydodecanol, Isopropyl Mystristate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, VP/Hexadecene Copolymer, Oxokerite, Ceresin, Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Polyethylene, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Phytosteryl Isostearate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Flavor, Synthethic Fluorphlogopite, Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850:2), Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate, Squalane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Red 8 Lake (CI 45410), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1), Tin Oxide (CI 77861), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Collagen

I would rate this 10 out of 10. Despite their cute packaging, their price point is also gets a point. It is cheap and easy to get. By meaning easy to get, you can easily find it at your nearest beauty pharmacies and even Hermo is carrying their brand. Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm is considered cheap because of their ingredients in the lip balm.

Another reason this lip balm deserves full marks is because it is really moisturizing. It will not leave any greasy and sticky texture on your lips. I love their sheer tint which is not too vibrant and obvious, instead it leaves a natural sheer tint. As far as I’m testing it, it is really moisturizing and their moisture lasts for a long time. I do have chapped and dry lips, but it really helps to restore the moist and giving some natural tint for my lips.

It is my grab-and-go product if I am in rush. Sometimes, I hardly to choose lipstick especially if I’m going for a simple natural makeup look. But this Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm compliments my look without any compromise.
