For me, shower gel is the best choice as a body wash. It is usually derived from synthetic detergents either petroleum or plant sources. Using shower gel is the best option during bath time because it is usually the safer and healthier option to use on the skin. Soap bars tend to leave skin feeling like there’s residue leftover and often lead to dryer skin. It is believed that some soap bars are made using more alkaline and fat.

I have been a fan of their Neutrogena’s skincare product range especially the Hydration Boost cream and the fact that they launched a new shower collection is a very exciting moment for me. They have launched a new product range for bath and body which is their Rainbath Shower Gel and comes with 3 different scented gel which is Rainbath Ocean Mist in blue, Rainbath Pear and Green Tea in green and finally Rainbath in Orange Colour. These are shower gels created to leave the skin with moisturized and without residue.
This Neutrogena Rainbath refreshing shower and bath gel is packed with a very refreshing fruity and herbal scented, suitable for relaxing after a long day of work. It can also be used as a smoothing gel for shaving and in a foaming bath. This shower gel comes in a 473ml size and it is a great bargain as it is a super concentrated gel and you only need a little amount for the whole body.

My Review
First of all, I love the scent so much; it is a mix between herby and citrusy smells and it is very relaxing for me in my bath time. The scent lingers on my skin and I love the gentle the foams it create. It has a very thick gel consistency and after contact with water, it will slowly became foamy and I love how thick it is because sometimes liquid soaps tend to spill and to me it is a lot of waste. However, this soap is great to be used with a loofah and not with bare hand because I do noticed that using only hands does not foam up and tend to make me use more.
I also noticed that this shower gel scent did not stay long on the skin and it is a bit sad for me because I love a long lasting scents on my body after shower. So if you are a person like me, you might be a bit disappointed. But if you are a person that does not care about scent and loves the great relaxing bath experience then this is a shower gel that is perfect for you!
