REVIEW | Nivea Aloe & Hydration Body Lotion

When I think of Nivea, I immediately think of body lotion first then second is deodorant. In recent years, Nivea been developing new products especially their body care range.

Today I’m going to review their Nivea Aloe & Hydration Body Lotion. You can find aloe vera in almost every household. When I was young my grandma used to pick and cut the raw aloe vera directly from the plant and apply on my hand whenever I got burned.  Aloe vera is commonly used nowadays even in skin care. It’s a great gentle ingredient that helps to hydrate and calm the skin. Whenever you have a sunburn, aloe vera definitely helps in skin soothing and cooling.

Now with this lotion, it makes our life much more easier and we no longer need to cut an aloe vera plant every time you need to use one. The Nivea Aloe Hydration Body Lotion is infused with the Nivea Deep Moisture Serum and Aloe Vera. What’s better than this 2 in 1 lotion?! It’s is slightly different from the rest. It absorbs almost immediately and leaves your skin soothed and refreshed in just one application.

How to use:

Apply Nivea Aloe & Hydration Body Lotion to your skin daily after shower. This fast-acting lotion absorbs quickly, allowing you to get dressed within minutes of application. Repeat as needed throughout the day.

My Opinion:

Like most Nivea body lotions, this one too comes in a bottle packaging but in opaque white. I don’t like opaque packages as I couldn’t see how much the content is inside, but this is just my personal preference. It has a pump dispenser as usual for easy use. All the important information such as net weight, ingredient list, date of manufacturing and date of expiry is stated in their back panel of bottle. Overall, no comment on packaging wise. Somehow this bottle is not really travel friendly due to its big size unless you check-in your luggage! The lotion is white in colour and slightly gel-ish with incredibly smooth consistency. In fact, it feels quite runny.

It absorb into the skin well and does not leave behind any greasiness or residue. In fact, among all the lotions that I have reviewed before, this is the most lightweight and comfortable to use as if nothing is applied on. However, this lotion does not contain any SPF, so yea please remember to put on your sunblock girls!

I feel this would suit best for someone with combination to normal skin. Coming to the fragrance, it has a touch of mild Aloe scent that is really refreshing. So if you want something lightweight and does the job, you would probably like this lotion. I think I will repurchase this lotion again and recommended to those with normal skin. Moreover, this product is pretty affordable too. A bottle could lasts you really a long time.
