I actually wasn’t sure the difference between this mask and the light complete version one as both contains lemon extract and have the same claims of brightening. So I decided to try both of them before I share the review with you guys. The packaging itself showing a very clear lemon extract drop, yes lemon extract is known for skin brightening and helps in even out skin tone. I think the only thing that makes this mask different is the hyaluronic acid. For this Bright Up series, it contains only vitamin C and milk essence. People with dark spots from hyperpigmentation can try this out as well, lets see if this mask helps in my acne scar for this round. If you have sensitive skin, no worries as this mask is tested by dermatologists and it claims to be safe and gentle on sensitive skin as well! How great it is!
This Garnier Skin Naturals Serum Mask #Bright Up mask comes with a blue protective film backing and also a white film that helps in easy application. However, I feel that its not so eco friendly as too many plastic in a piece of mask. Once I tear off packet open, I could smell a very strong citrusy scent, but still acceptable for me. Kind of refreshing. The essence is milky type and not runny at all. Quite sticky actually and it caused a mess when I tried to apply the mask. The essence was dripping everywhere on my vanity and cause me the trouble of cleaning it. The material of the mask feels like a mixture of rubber and cloth, and it holds the milky essence quite well on my face.

How to use:
CLEANSE YOUR FACE. APPLY MASK ON THE FACE AND LEAVE IT FOR 10 – 15 MINUTES. REMOVE AND GENTLY MASSAGE AROUND THE FACE AREA FOR THE ESSENCE TO BE FULLY ABSORBED BY THE SKIN. NOT NECESSARY TO RINSE OFF.

My Opinion:
This mask is not up to my liking by the way. After the 15 minutes of application, I took it off and yes I could see the instant whitening on my whole face, but not really hydrates my skin. In fact, my face was dried off in just 15 minutes. Glad that I just leave it for only 15 minutes and not 20 minutes. The essence that sits on my face was slightly sticky and it never fully absorbed into my skin. So I decided to do a quick rinse before I continue with my next skincare routine. I’m afraid that the thick essence might end up causing me to breakout. Overall, this mask is almost the same like the one Light Complete. I might and might not repurchase anymore, but if you’re looking for a economical brightening mask, you may consider this as your choice.
