As a reviewer, I basically tested more than ten bottles of body lotion in a month. From the good to the lower range ones, and I still cant find a lotion that really suits my needs. It’s either too oily or too sticky.
When you are living in such a hot and humid weather in Malaysia, I cant afford to apply those body lotion that make my body even stickier when I sweat. It will be really disgusting though. But if we don’t apply any body lotion, my skin eventually goes dry and flaky when working under air-conditioner environment.
So, what now? To apply or not to apply? I used to apply baby lotion right after showering but it doesn’t really work well on my skin. I somewhat still feel some sticky residue on my skin when I sweat. This make me even hate to apply my hand lotion too.
As we age, our skin tend to lose its moisture quicker than usual. How often are we exposed to sun? How often we sleep in air conditioner room? And most of the time, we work in air conditioned office too. Basically 24/7 our skin is exposed. So I came across this Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion Deep Restore. As we know, all of the Vaseline’s lotion infused with micro-droplets of Vaseline Jelly to keep our skin moisturize.

Overall, this is still not my type of lotion to be honest. It doesn’t absorb well on my skin. It feels like a thick layer coated on my skin and make my body feels sticky all day long. Even though I don’t exposed to sun very often, but it feels sticky on me and uncomfortable. I think this lotion suits well if you had a very very dry skin or cracked skin. And I personally think that this lotion could be the perfect one to use during winter season or cold weather. As for the scent, it was pretty calm and refreshing. Very light and not very strong smell, still acceptable for me. And the size was economical as well for such price. Highly recommend for those with very dry and sensitive skin. So, I’ll just rate 2 over 5 stars for this lotion. This is based on my personal opinion only.
