Toner has few variations: be it the popular one which is hydrating one, or some functions as soothing and calming, exfoliating, astringent, brightening and many more. There is no harm to use multiple toners in a routine, provided that your skin can adapt well with them. Today I’ll tell more about one of my favourite soothing toner from iUNIK which is iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Toner. Personally I really love this toner because tea tree and my skin sort of having a love affair

HOW TO USE
After cleansing, gently sweep over the face and neck with a cotton pad or fingertips.
TEXTURE & SCENT
It is clear, very watery and runny in texture, just like plain water. This product smells very refreshing, with a hint of tea tree scent.

Oily dehydrated, prone to sensitised skin and clogged pores.
MY THOUGHTS
I’m a fan of watery toner, just like this one. It feels very lightweight and easily absorbed to the skin. It gives a refreshing feeling due to the scent, I love how it manages to wake me up and refresh me every time in my routine. I often use this product right after cleansing as it acts as soothing toner.
It has powerful soothing effect but for the hydrating part, I personally think it’s not enough, so I opt to add extra hydration in my routine by adding on hydrating toner after using this one, and it’s definitely an ideal combination. I would say aside from its great for soothing, this toner also contributes to keep my acne at bay, due to the tea tree in the ingredients.
I notice that my skin behaves very well throughout using this product. As it’s very lightweight, it’s very ideal to be used daily in both routine. It’s easy to be layered with any other products too. I prefer to use this toner with cotton pads, as I find it’s the most effective way for my skin. I highly recommend this toner for any skin types but please beware of any ingredients in this product that doesn’t suit your skin, as YMMV.

4/5. It’s definitely a good soothing toner, but as I mentioned before, the hydrating effect is not enough for me, so it’s better to pair it with any other hydrating product, then you’re good to go!
