Been using lip balm for almost a decades and I never heard of any lip scrub that doesn’t need to be wiped off. Even the Laneige one needs to be washed off the next morning after woke up. Nivea been so creatively lately and they came out with this thing call lip scrub. Ok I wasn’t sure it was a new thing or just that I’m not up to date?
Nivea have launched not one, but two lip scrubs and I had to find out more for sure! This Nivea Super Soft Lips Caring Lip Scrub is available in two versions, the Rosehip Oil and also Aloe Vera. But today I’m going to review on the Aloe Vera one first as I just tested it out not long ago. I will do another post for Rosehip Oil as well.
Other than my face, I had a problem with my lips as well ever since I started of my medication few years back. And the effects was the real deal! I had super dry and chapped lips most of the time and I just can’t live a day without any lip balm! I was totally sold when I saw this lip scrub from Nivea and I really wanted to try it out if it has the same effect just like Laneige. This NIVEA 2 in 1 Caring Scrub claims to exfoliates and moisturises with natural particles creating super soft lips. Well, it sounds pretty attractive right? And we all know that aloe vera is super good in soothing and moisturizing. They also contain naturally-derived grains (from corn starch) as peeling particles and no harmful ingredients used in this lip balm.

My Opinion:
This lip scrub is truly fantastic for me. Totally no regrets trying it! Nivea claim that their lip scrubs don’t need to be wiped off as the particles dissolve by itself when our lips rubbing together. I find that this lip scrub is gentle and the particles exfoliate the lips without irritating sensitive skin. It leaves my lips soft and smooth after that.
Another thing that I like about this product is that it is easy to apply, most lip scrubs come in a pot or a tub which is not ideal for travelling at all and not hygienic to use. But this turning stick is cool! Finally, the product smells absolutely amazing and it leaves a nice shine to my lips as well. They leave no sticky feeling at all, but a fine film of protection that will provide moisture lips all day long! Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
