REVIEW | Innisfree Cherry Blossom Tone Up Cream

In K-dramas, the cherry blossoms during spring always look so pretty. I seriously want to visit South Korea to see cherry blossoms but sadly didn’t get that chance yet. Inspired to cherry blossom, Innisfree produced this cherry blossom range. Let me tell you short backstory of this range.
Jeju Cherry Blossoms leaves are responsibly sourced from the island of Jeju, South Korea. Leaves are harvested and dried, aged in lava seawater and dried again. After fully dried and removing sea salts, leaves are finally squeezed for a potent extract that helps boosts skin radiance for a glowing, clear complexion.

My Verdict

Firstly, I really love the texture! So lightweight and easy to spread. No pilling or thick feelings. No tackiness. This tone up cream didn’t irritate my skin or give any negative reaction on me.

As it claims, it did tone up my skin naturally. Didn’t look ashy or too fair on my natural malay skin (kuning langsat). The tone looking even. Not cakey or crack at all. The finishing more to semi-matte with natural glow. Skin looking healthier and glowing. The tone maintains for a few hours even though I’m sweating. It is like My Skin But Better. However, if you have heavy dark circle, don’t apply too much on that area. It will end up looking a bit ashy.

Overall, this tone up cream suits to those who want to naturally looking radiant and glowing with a tone up effect without looking ashy. Can be used on body too. It is good make up based too. What I read before, it claims that if use consistently for more than four weeks, our skin will eventually brighten. I saw Innisfree did produce this tone up cream with spf. I may buy it for my daily use since it has sun protection.

My Rate

4.4/5
