Jumiso is one of my favourite skincare brand from Korea. I used to love their Aha Toner, Vitamin C Serum and of course their Centella & Snail Cream moisturizer. My skin really love and drink up all the goodness. But then other brands pop up and as a skincare junkie I love to try and try another products. Until one day, I got breakout around mask area. So many acnes pop up and leaves me the ugly scars.
Then I remember I have this Jumiso All Day Brightening Serum in my stash. So here’s the review on this baby.
According to their website, JUMISO vitamin serum is a non-water-based and high-concentration serum for brightening. For all skin types, keep your skin radiant with the daily vitamin serum. It helps you keep bright skin tone and have healthy and balanced skin. It contains various vitamin complexes such as A, B, D, E, and K as well as vitamin C and many ingredients that nourish skin, helping skin brightening, soothing, and elasticity care. This serum isn’t a direct Vitamin C serum, they formulated with other Vitamins like A, B, D, E and K.
Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract aka Sea Buckthorn/Sea Berry
Jumiso mention it as Vitamin Tree and contains 86.14%. This berry is a good source of vitamin C as well as various B vitamins, vitamin E, lycopene, phytosterols, and numerous phenolic compounds that provide antioxidant benefit. It distributes easily over the skin and absorbs quickly. Due to its high content of carotenoids, it has potent cell-regenerating, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Therefore, it is particularly well suited for mature skin as it stimulates the formation of new cells and skin’s metabolic processes.
Niacinamide or Vitamin B3
This is my favourite ingredient and in this serum it contains 2% of it. Not too high or too low, just enough to brighten the skin, oil control and shrink the pores.
Sodium hyaluronate is smaller than hyaluronic acid and is able to move more freely into the deeper layers of the skin. This helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist.
Centella Asiatica Extract
Being used as an antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-cancer agent and aids in the various processes of wound healing, such as coagulation, inflammation, cell migration and proliferation.
And many more..

How To Use
After using toner, in the essence stage, take an appropriate amount and apply it all over the face to absorb.
The product comes with orange box and the bottle itself made from orange tinted glass and also the white cap dropper. I wish Jumiso produce in a larger bottle other than 30ml volume.
It has a clear gel like texture, which is runny, lightweight and spread easily. It absorbs fast and I didn’t feel any greasy residue afterwards.
It has a light floral scent like rose maybe but not overpowering.
To be honest, I really love this serum. I already on my third bottles now and I still can’t get over it. Despite the gelish texture, it fastly sinking into the skin leaves me with no stickiness or tightness. Not like other Vitamin C serum, I didn’t feel any heat sensation and it is fun to use though.
My skin feels so hydrated and glowy. The powerhouse of super amazing ingredients, this serum helps me with my acne scars and some of my pigmentation.
