REVIEW | Mamonde Rose Water Toner

I have heard a lot about this brand from the social influencers and also from those famous kpop skincare websites. This brand has been selling hot these days and one of their famous products is the Mamonde Rose Water Toner. In this post, I will be reviewing the Mamonde Rose Water Toner after tested it out for a week now. This toner contains 90.97% rose water, instead of regular water for more soothing hydration effect. Rose water helps to hydrate, revitalise and moisturise the skin giving more refreshed look. The toner also effectively removes dead skin cells and improves skin texture for clearer, refreshed looking skin with its pH 5.5-7.5 level.

First of all, the packaging of this product seems pretty simple and nothing much fancy with a single rose and states that the toner contains 90.97% Damask Rose Water. The toner comes in a few different sizes, they even have travel size if I’m not mistaken. I opted for the 150ml due to there was a good deal at the time.

The toner is in a pastel pink see-through plastic bottle that is slightly squeezable and has a picture of a Damask rose on it along with product info. The toner is a clear thin runny liquid and drips instantly. I also noticed that it absorbed really quickly into my skin and does not leave any residue. It was so lightweight that oily prone skin can use it.

How to use:

There are 3 ways in which you can use this toner:

1 | After cleansing, use a cotton pad soaked with the toner in gentle sweeping motions, then pat more as needed into the skin using your palms.
2 | Transfer the toner to a spray bottle to use as a refreshing and hydrating mist.
3 | Use as a DIY sheet mask by soaking cotton pads and placing it on the areas of your face that need deep hydration.

After cleansing, take an appropriate amount of the product onto a cotton pad and wipe across the face, following the skin texture. Lightly tap on the remaining product to absorb.

My Opinion:

This toner has a very overpowering rose scent which I love. I’m a rose lover so I personally think that this toner is just for me. If your skin can handle fragranced products and you like the smell of rose, then you will love the smell of this toner. Touchwood this toner doesn’t cause me a breakout and pretty mild to my sensitive skin. It doesn’t clogged my pores as well and I could feel instant hydrating after the application of this toner. The scent of the rose lingers for quite some time and it does not sting my skin. This toner doesn’t contain any active ingredients that can cause skin to purge but however it is advisable to read on the ingredient list before try it on your skin.

I have the trial kit of the flower toner series from Mamonde, which has all the other versions of this toner included in it so I’m going to test those out at some point, and see how each of them compare to the rose version. Will update you guys in my next review!
