Post-masking Thoughts

Physically this slice mask looks the same with the ones I have reviewed before; #Apple and #Sunflower, but with cute strawberry print. And oh my the scent is mouth-watering to me, sour sweet strawberry; leaning towards stronger sour scent. I love sour snacks hence why I find the scent is quite delicious, but some might find it a bit off because the scent is pretty strong too if you sniff it directly from the packaging. But once it is on my face, I barely smell it

There’s slightly itchy/tingly sensation on my skin when I put these patches on, but it only last for a few seconds. I did exfoliated my skin the night before so that might have contribute to slightly sensitive skin. I love how hydrating the essence is, it is quite thick and viscous but easily-absorbed into the skin. Left them on about 10 minutes and done! The finish is slightly tacky but it the least tackiest compare to #Apple or #Sunflower if I remember correctly, but this can be easily fix with some spritz of face mist and gently tap in. My skin looks well-hydrated and slightly dewy, overall my skin look calm and no irritation or uncomfortable feeling was left behind 👍

Okay now we’re getting into the main part where I share with you a tip to use these cute slice patches with your friends and family! All twelve piece you can share up to 6 person 2 piece each. All you need is to get yourself your favorite sheet mask, preferably those with thin transparent like material. I’ll explain further as we get through okie!

First you take 2 slice patches and place it on your cheeks to imitate strawberry cheeks you have probably seen in some Snapchat/Instagram filters! Of course you’re freely to explore, be creative and have fun mix and match with other variant of slice patches if you like. But be sure to proceed with caution. If you feel any irritation, best discard and wash your skin with clean water ☝️

Next, take your choice of sheet mask and place it on top. I’m using Etude House 0.2mm Theraphy Mask in Camellia. The reason why it is best to pair with a thin or transparent sheet mask so that the slice patches underneath will still be visible. And that’s it! 😆 This is somewhat inspired by a sheet masking hack I have been doing. Notice how some sheet mask’s eye hole is wider or larger that doesn’t cover the skin under our eyes? You can use eye patches to tackle this and maximize the effect during your masking sesh

So what do you think? I think the idea is pretty nice and I’m 100% would love to do it with my best friends and cousins. Do let me know if you will do this and share your experience 🥰

See you again on my next post and take care everyone! ❤️
