Does your skin feel greasy or sticky after applying a lotion? That’s what I hate the most when it comes to applying a lotion. I rather let my skin be dehydrated than applying a sticky lotion. LOL, if you know you know. Seriously I wasn’t sure if this is a new product by Nivea but definitely new to me. This NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion is enriched with sea minerals and Hydra IQ, which claims to work deep within the skin, repairing dry skin layer by layer to make it soft and supple.
It is said that Sea Minerals helps to relieve skin ailments such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. You may google it to know more about it. Minerals such as magnesium, sodium and potassium enhance your skins ability to retain moisture, making it healthy and silky smooth. This is one of a kind lotion that I ever see that contains sea minerals, Nivea always being so creative when it comes to lotion. They are definitely the pro when it comes to lotion range. If you ever read my other reviews, I have list down my reviews on Nivea lotions that I have tried before vs the Vaseline brand. My to-buy-list still goes to Nivea. This Body lotion is free of animal derived ingredients and colorants, if you are sensitive skin, this is a good choice.
Nothing fancy about the packaging, the lotion comes in the signature Nivea bottle packaging in white and blue. It has a flip-top cap that shuts tightly with a click and makes it secure to carry along. The packaging is quite straightforward to information such as net product volume, date of manufacturing, shelf-life as well as the ingredient list.

My opinion:
After testing it for 5 days, I would like to share my thoughts here with all of you. I’m not a lotion person but I will use it when necessary. As expected the product is white in color and has a runny consistency. It’s not like any other thick lotion that are sticky and creamy. As a lotion, this is consider lightweight to me. Almost to gel type. I would say that only a small amount is needed to apply. Just massage it and in few seconds it gets absorbed into the skin. It blends in really well and leaves nothing behind.
The main reason I love this lotion is because it is extremely lightweight and non-greasy, yet thoroughly moisturizing. This makes it a perfect pick for the summer all year long. In terms of fragrance, it is quite mild and pleasant and not overpowering to my nose. It has a mild floral scent that I really like. I would say that this lotion is more suitable for people with dry skin. If you sweat easily, maybe this is not for you. For a bottle of 400ml, not really travel friendly to me, unless check in luggage. Overall, I would rate 3/5 based on my personal experience.
