REVIEW | JM Solution Japan Centella Care Mask

When I first purchased this mask, I had a thought as I wasn’t sure if this was the same one like I used before back then. Two years back when I was Seoul, I remembered I bought something similar for JM Solution mask with Centella as well. But the packaging is totally different and it was white in colour with a jar of medicine on the front packaging. I guess this is probably something different as this one mentioned Japan Centella Care?

LOL. Really too many masks I have tried in my life and I have forgotten which ones I used before. The reason why I bought this mask is because of my angry acne recently. Why can’t I have smooth and clear skin for a week? Guess my menstrual cycle is here and I have a horrible and terrible bad skin this week. Skin was extremely oily too and I need to use blotting paper to absorb my excess sebum before I sleep every night.

This mask claims to calm skin irritation and sensitivity. No joke, I have very bad breakout and I’m so frustrated to even look at the mirror. It contains high concentrations of grass snow extracts which helps in moisturizing and soothing for acne redness. One good thing about this mask is, they formulated it with weak acid essences and 80% natural green!

My skin barrier was harshly damaged due to I have been pinching and popping my acne, which I shouldn’t do that I know. But its too late now. I need a mask that able to fix my skin and kill those acne causing bacteria. Whenever your skin gets oily, the more bacteria formed and eventually clogged pores. I read about the goodness of this mask before I make a purchase and fingers crossed it will help me a little. I have a lot of marks and deep scars left behind from my previous acne and lets see if this mask able to do the wonders.

How to use:

  • After washing, prepare skin with toner
  • Apply sheet mask evenly on your face
  • Remove the sheet mask after 15-20 minutes, and gently pat the remaining essences to your face.

My opinion:

Due to my angry acne skin right now, I really don’t see any immediate effect after the mask. Pimples are still there of course, it wont disappear right after application. But one obvious thing I could feel was, my skin is not as red as previously and I could feel my skin calmed a little. The soothing and calming effect was real.

To be very honest, my face was not that oily that night after I applied the mask. Usually I need a blotting paper to absorb all my oil before I off to bed. Surprisingly, it managed to control the sebum and I hope this results could last. Probably I need to test out a few boxes first to see if it could helps on my acne skin. This is a great product if you are oily and acne skin like me.
