I’m a big fan of Nivea for their fabulous product range that caters to everyone’s skin! I seriously did a lot of reviews for Nivea products, you could simply search it in beauty memo. From lip care to body care, I have done a several reviews and thoughts for their products and brands. It’s an ultimate must have for your skin care regimen. Their lip balm and lotions are the best, though sometimes their lotion feels a bit heavy and oily in the skin. Living in a 24/7 tropical country like Malaysia, that’s one drawback of Nivea. But still I love their products!
I’ve been using Nivea Extra Whitening Roll-On Deodorant for years before I switched to a spray one. Today I’m going to share my review about this product and hopefully I could help those of you before deciding to purchase it or not. I keep on coming back with this brand due to their superb quality and affordable price. It doesn’t darken my underarm, neither does it whiten your underarm. It only maintains and prevents further darkening, for those who did constant shaving.
This one is kind of similar with the one I have reviewed before previously. I have tested the one in Sakura and I love it. But still, being a Malaysian we love promotions and discount! I grabbed another in Rose instead and I realized that I love Rose more! I’m always a rose lover if you know me well. The serum formula contains concentrated Vitamin C and hokkaido rose essence which promotes deep nourishment to repair our underarm skin for fairer and smoother surface for the next 48 hours anti-perspiration protection! Sounds promising though!
How to use:
APPLY EVENLY ON BOTH UNDERARMS. LEAVE IT TO DRY BEFORE PUTTING ON CLOTHES.
My opinion:
This roll on deodorant is easy to use and apply. It was quite runny and watery when you rub on your underarm. Normally I wont wear my clothes immediately after applied, I’ll just leave it for 1 minute before to dry it up because I’m afraid it will just leave a stain on my shirt or dress.
It feels so comfy and smells great on my skin. But I’ve noticed that it’s staying power is not pretty good as it claimed. It’s not even 24 hours sweat free, neither it is 12 hours. I felt it’s good for just 6 hours, depending on the activity. I’m kind of disappointed on this product. Most of the time I need to run errands outdoor and sweat like cow. So as a conclusion, this product not up to my liking and still prefer the one with spray. Instant drying and no residue left behind.
