With a focus on creating products to stimulate healthy and balanced movement of the skin cells, Commonlabs aims to focus on ingredients and formulations that strengthen the foundation of the skin to effectively cope with skin aging. Coupled with a modern, minimalist look, the brand’s offerings have of course, intrigued me. So, starting with a humble sheet mask, will this brand’s philosophy work on my often stressed skin? Let’s see.

30g / 1.05 oz. x 1 sheet
Dark brown plastic packet with an interesting yet minimal design. There are tear openings on either side of the packaging, as common with most sheet masks.
HOW TO USE:
- After cleansing, prep the skin with toner.
- Apply the mask evenly over your face.
- Remove it after 10-20 minutes.
- Pat the remaining essence into the skin to be absorbed.
Slight fresh, herbal scent but overall unnoticeable during wear. Good for those with sensitive noses like me!
Light, clear gel texture with a slight viscosity. It is easy to spread and absorbs seamlessly into the skin with no tacky finish. Not much leftover essence left in the packet after use.
Very interesting 100% cotton lattice structured waffle mask! For a clearer description, here’s a useful infographic provided by the brand below.
The mask has a medium weight to it, and does not come with a mask backing, but it’s quite easy to unfold nonetheless. Adherence is great as I did not feel it slipping off anytime during my mask session.
MY SKIN TYPE:
Sensitive (prone to redness and irritation), combination-dry, acne-prone and dehydrated.
OVERALL THOUGHTS & EXPERIENCE:
Honestly, I went in blind when I decided to purchase and use this mask, so imagine my surprise when I opened the packet to see the unique waffle design! Definitely grabbed my attention in an instant! 😂
In terms of usage, I actually enjoyed having this plastered to my face for 10-20 minutes. Due to the great adherence, I could even move about my room doing clean-ups here and there – multitasking, yay! I also really like how cute it looks in pictures, haha. And if you’ve stored this mask in the fridge beforehand, the extra cooling effect is a bonus!
Results-wise, I can see why it claims to be great for tired, stressed or dull skin. After days of not treating my skin that well, I feel like Commonlab’s Triple Vita Balancing Mask has helped to provide an instant moisture boost to my chronically dry and dehydrated skin. And although my skin cannot always tolerate high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid in the long run, sometimes a one-off skin treatment of this famous ingredient really does wonders! I also love the high concentration of Niacinamide, Honey and the blend of nutritious Vitamins.
5/5! Highly recommended for those looking for an instant moisture boost.
