CICA & ALOE
I believe these 2 superb ingredients need no more introduction. One of K-beauty brands, Jumiso recently launched their Super Soothing Cica & Aloe Facial Serum. I’m sharing my thoughts on it after using this Vegan serum for a while.
It is highly-enriched serum that could soothe sensitive skin. It helps you to harness the power of natural moisturizers developed for the improvement of destroyed skin barrier and exhausted and improve skin elasticity.
- Free from all sorts of bacteria, Paraben and Ethanol
- 41% Centella Asiatica Extract
- 31% Aloe Vera Leaf Extract
- 7 layered Hyaluronic Acid
- 17 kinds of Amino Acid complex
My Skin Type:
Oily, Acne prone skin with easily clogged pores
The serum is housed in a see through green, glass bottle with a dropper, just like Jumiso’s Vitamin serum.
It has a volume of 30 ml which may last me about 2 months.
The serum itself has a gel-like consistency, well, maybe because it contains aloe, but it is a soft, watery gel that spreads easily and feels cooling onto the skin. It is like a water based serum, there is no stickiness or taut feeling after it has fully absorbed.
I have recurring maskne and I do think after having this serum in my routine, it does help to soothe the unwanted guess aka pimples. It helps to calm angry, irritated skin due to long hour of wearing mask. These days my skin is super sensitive and this lightweight serum is my life savior.
It helps to woosh away redness and flakiness, especially after I just had an exfoliating product, it does help to cancels out the irritations.
I specifically put extra dot of this serum on a freshly popped pimple, and after just 5 days the pimple is looking better, soothed and ,there is minimal scarring to it.
It leaves my skin refreshed, helps to cool down my skin’s temperature and hydrates my skin making it feels plump and revitalized.
I didn’t experience any adverse reactions (itchiness, redness, irritations) while using this product. All of the comments are based on my experiences and only my own. However, you may experience different reactions because our skin varies individually. Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV).
All in all, I think this serum is doing a great job at soothing and calming the skin. It certainly is a staple in my routine as I constantly have pimples.
If you are having any of these concerns, you may want to splurge some money into this superb serum.
