REVIEW | LuLuLun Face Mask 7s [#3 White Whitening]

The Lululun masks comes in different variants and I literally bought all the variants available. And here I got myself the white one which is for brightening too. I’m not fair skinned but in fact more tanned and yellow-ish. I always envy those girls with fair skin who won’t get tanned even under the hot sun. Well, I’m not one of them. If you put me under the hot sun for 10 minutes, I will immediately get tanned and burned.

I got the 7 mask pack version which I prefer rather than the 32 piece box version. This means that this mask pack is meant for 7 days usage. This is quite common in Japan where most of their masks come in a common zip lock bag instead of individual packs which quite wasteful. Japan also did a great job and totally reduced the impact of plastic usage and is more eco-friendly. Some of you might think this is not so hygienic if soak all the masks in a bag, but it really depends. There’s definitely pros and cons.

Before I go any further with this review, I should point out the ingredients used in this mask first. If you realized, Japanese mask normally will not be loaded with a lot of essences but Korean masks are usually soaked in essences and dripping wet. Lululun ones are soaked in a minimal amount of watery essence. so some of you might not like it as it is not as wet as those normal sheet masks.

The application process is similar to the Korean ones, the difference is they are meant to be left on for 10 minutes only. The fitting is not very good on me especially on my jaw area. Big face problem. But eyes, mouth and eyes area are perfect. Seems like girls in Japan has a heart shape petite face! I’m envious! This masks is made with peony flower extract and elderflower extract, both help in moisturizing and skin firmness. The most important ingredients in this mask is the beta micro peptide that helps in skin brightening and reduce dark spots.

How to use:

FIRST THOROUGHLY CLEANSE AND DRY THE FACE.

POSITION THE EYE AND MOUTH PARTS AND LIGHTLY PRESS TO ADHERE THE MASK TO THE WHOLE FACE.

LEAVE THE MASK ON FOR 5-10 MINUTES. THE MASK IS ALSO EFFECTIVE IF IT IS LIGHTLY WARMED WITH THE PALMS OF THE HANDS.

REMOVE THE MASK , FOLD, AND DISCARD.

APPLY MASK TWICE DAILY (MORNING AND NIGHT) INSTEAD OF MOISTURIZING CREAMS AND SERUMS.

My opinion:

Usually I will use the mask after my shower. I leave it on for about 10 minutes and my mask will start drying up pretty fast. I removed it to reveal a decently hydrated skin. Not much essence actually left behind and I just simply rub it around my face and rinse off with water as I don’t like anything sitting on my skin as I have acne and sensitive skin.

After 3 applications of mask, I noticed no effects on my skin except for the hydration effect. To my opinion, this one is a pretty normal mask and no obvious effect on my face. I think if it is a daily mask, still consider quite affordable. Maybe I won’t be buying this range anymore compared to the rests. I would rate only 3/5 for this mask as maybe it doesn’t really work for me.
