BBIA, short for “Blooming Beauty in Online Ocean” if you didn’t know. When it comes to lipstick, I’m pretty particular due to my dry lips. I am a matte lipstick junkie but I realized that matte lippies have disadvantages too. Many of them crack or make my lips flaky which is super ugly.
I have this love-hate relationship when it comes to lipstick. I want something not sticky or glossy, I still prefer those dry and matte. I just couldn’t find a perfect one for myself until I saw this BBIA brand. The one I chose is the BBIA Last Velvet Lip tint. It is not sticky nor too dry for my lips. So I’m gonna hit a try!
BBIA Last Velvet Lip Tint has a rose-gold cap, with a frosted clear tube. I selected shade #17 (More Pleasant) which I totally loved it and suitable for my skin tone. This is not a watery lip tint that we used to see, but what I would consider a matte liquid lipstick. HAHAH sounds too tricky. It is like a very thick and creamy in the tube and has applicator wand.

This product goes on nice and smooth, has a light fruity scent to it, but no taste. After applying, it gives a matte finish, but it is not dry or cakey. I applied it before my lunch date with boyfriend and nahhh this is not smudge proof at all and leaves a light shade behind after food. When it comes to waterproof, I think the one from Maybeline is still the best and seriously waterproof and even kiss proof! HAHA. The shade that I had chosen is a rare shade for me and it’s hard to find a colour that looks good on me. I have swatches at the end of this review.

How to use:
1. To apply, just place the applicator in the center of the mouth, under the Cupid’s bow, and sweep left and right.
2. A few seconds after application, the color fuses with the skin like a tattoo for the lips.
3. Use Lip Tattoo alone for natural-looking color and a bare-lip sensation, or use it as a primer with any Dior lipstick or lip gloss to boost both color and wear.

My opinion:
If you love matte lipsticks and tints like I do, these are a great choice. The velvet tint is a great alternative to Peripera as it doesn’t have that horrible taste. They do not cake or feel too dry on my lips. If you suffer from chapped lips, you should apply a layer of lip balm first before applying the lippies. This small tube of lip tint probably would lasts me for quite some time and I definitely will try out their new shade again in future. The price is quite reasonable as well so why not? Overall, this is a good buy and so easy to carry around in my handbag or makeup pouch.
