Senka vs Biore | Which Cleansing Oil is Better?

I’m a heavy makeup user and my favourite cleansing oil is Biore Cleansing Oil. But I thought of trying a different brand, because why not? So I decided to try Senka Perfect All Clear Oil and compare them both in terms of their cleansing power.

Products To Be Removed

I decided to test them against the products I’d normally use in my makeup routine: foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, and liquid lipstick.

The Test

I used the oil on the bottom half of the swatches so it’s easier to compare how much has been removed. Comparing both, I find the Biore one slightly oilier in texture, whereas Senka felt lighter. I felt like I had to rub lesser with Biore, whereas Senka needed a bit more work to remove the products.

Just to note btw, I’ve tried using the Senka one on my face before and when it accidentally got into my eyes, it burned so badly unlike Biore. And when I used Senka to remove the swatches on my hand, it felt a little warm. Not sure if I’m allergic or if this product is memang like that.

The Results

Personally, I feel like Senka did a better job at removing (you can see the difference in the mascara swatch). Even though I tried rubbing a bit more with Biore, there are still some bits of mascara that it couldn’t remove. So in terms of removing power, I think Senka is better.

However, because it burned my eyes when I used it before and it made my hand warm, I’m not sure if I’d recommend it. So you can try it at your own risk. But I still highly recommend Biore as it’s still great at removing makeup.
