REVIEW | NARUKO Narcissus Repairing Mask

I’ve tried some of NARUKO sheet masks, such as NARUKO Raw Job’s Tears Brightening Mask, Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask, Snail Essence Intense Hydra Repair Mask just to name a few. My favourite mask is also from this brand – Naruko Bunga Raya Snow White Ice Cooling Mask. This time around, I’ll review one of their mask called Naruko Narcissus Repairing Mask.

What I really attracts about this mask is the packaging color, it’s purple! 💜 I have also been curious about this mask as it’s specially designed for premature aging skin. As someone whom already hit the ‘3 series’, this mask is definitely right up my alley😉

There are ingredients that labelled with an asterix, all of them are actually combination of extracts in NARUKO patented formulation called Phytoferulin. It enhances the skin’s defence against external harm and revitalizes the skin from the inside out. (NARUKO)

Love the minimal design! It’s very simple yet still eye catching! The packet is in dark purple color. It only displays the name of the mask as all the product description are all stated on the box.

HOW TO USE
1. After cleansing, smooth the mask evenly over the face and loop each ear hook around ears.
2. Stretch the other two ear hooks by the chin along jawline and loop over each ears
3. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and gently massage until the remaining essence has been absorbed. Follow with the rest of your skincare regimen. (NARUKO)

TEXTURE & SCENT
The essence itself is slightly viscous and thicker than water, thank god it’s not sticky. It has typical scent of sheet mask but a bit hint of floral scent, very mild and not overpowering.

MY SKIN TYPE & CONCERN
Oily dehydrated, prone to sensitised skin and clogged pores.

MY THOUGHTS
This mask comes with plastic backing to ensure it comes out firm and easy to unfold. It’s richly soaked with essence, the leftover essence is quite a lot, enough to cover my neck and arms, I also adding up the essence to the sheet mask.

The fitting of the mask is almost perfect. If I had to point out, I would prefer to have a bigger mouth hole and a bit wider to cover my forehead area. Other than that, it’s great. I love how it adhered nicely on my skin, thanks to the generous amount of essence. The sheet itself just like a standard sheet mask, not too thin or thick, like cotton, feels soft and pulpy.

This mask give me a cooling sensation, very refreshing and relaxing. Moreover as I’m in air conditioning room, it doubled the refreshing effect. I don’t have any qualms while wearing this mask, in fact I can feel that it’s very moisturising; my skin drank up all the juice this mask provided. Apart from that, there’s no sticky or heavy feeling which I really appreciate.

After 20 minutes, I removed the mask, the essence left on my face is quite a lot. But thankfully it only takes minutes for it to be fully absorbed to my skin without any tacky feeling. I can feel my skin is very moist and supple, it looks plump too! The pore appearance is reduced and seems refined, it feels great! My skin feels firm too. I believe if I constantly use this mask, it can really give great results on my skin elasticity. Having said that, I don’t see any significant result in improving my skin complexion, but I don’t really bother about it since I’m more focusing on the anti aging and skin firmness. After a while, I’m amazed at how soft my skin feels! I also noticed that it also improved my skin texture.

4.7/5! I believe this mask will definitely give impactful results on my skin if I consistently use it. In terms of ensuring to skin elasticity and soften the skin, I’m very satisfied with it. I will surely repurchase it and buy a box of this mask!
